Connexa, Auckland
Overview
Connexa is a dynamic firm specialising in passive tower infrastructure, building a network that enables telecommunications organisations to deliver the most advanced technologies for a more connected Aotearoa.
Connexa approached Expedite to create and build their new 700m2 office space in Auckland. Their primary objective was to create agile working practices and create a welcoming, homely environment that would inspire employees to choose the office as their preferred work setting.
Project Journey
Connexa sought to embrace agile working methodologies, necessitating a shift from traditional fixed workstations to a flexible layout that encouraged collaboration and fluidity.
The refurbishment also needed to align with Connexa's company culture, emphasising employee well-being, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
Connexa also envisioned an office environment that mirrored the comfort and warmth of home, promoting a sense of comfort and relaxation amidst the professional setting.
Initially, the project was designed for level three of the building, however, we suddenly had to pivot and adjust the designs for level two. This forced us to adapt the project into a very tight timeframe and specifications. With a limited area of 700m2, optimising space utilisation while accommodating diverse work settings posed a significant challenge.
Outputs
Through a collaborative partnership, Expedite successfully transformed the Connexa office space into a dynamic hub that embodies the principles of agile working and homely comfort. The refurbished office has been a catalyst for productivity, creativity, and employee satisfaction by prioritising employee well-being, collaboration, and space optimisation.
Expedite was able to provide Connexa with the following services:
- Strategy
- Design Support
- Project Management
- Cost Certainty
- Construction Management
- Furniture Procurement
Testimonial
“[The Expedite team were] a pleasure to work with — organised, responsive and the right mix of professional and friendly. The timely documentation and follow-up after each interaction were superb, I always knew how we were tracking and what I needed to do… they were patient with my questions, honest, and upfront about costs and timelines. [They] really listened and responded to what I needed.”
